Zetland Group has successfully secured consent for three capacity market developments totalling 42MW. The three sites, in Warrington, Rotherham and Trafford, which were consented within three months of instruction, included preparation of the planning applications and determination by the respective local planning authorities.
Commenting on the decision, Zetland Group’s Managing Director, Jonathon Foster, said:
“The consent we have secured for, and on behalf of, Alkane Energy is significant for Zetland Group in 2016. The rebrand of the company in January this year signalled our intention to work with a more diverse client base, with less dependency on oil and gas exploration. The decision to consent these capacity market develoments, within three months of instruction and within budget, demonstrates that Zetland Group can competently operate in other sectors, combining steadfast planning practices with a ‘can do’ approach.”
Zetland Group specialises in services within five core areas: Health and Safety; Environmental Permitting; Land Access; Town and Country Planning; and Site Construction. The launch of the Zetland Group brand in 2016 served to consolidate these areas of business, allowing the company to develop discrete capabilities to more closely meet its clients’ requirements.
